About this course
Grow It Grades 3 to 5 is a free 12-week online plant science and gardening course. Kids grow and measure a bean plant while they learn plant structures, life cycles, how water moves through a plant and how leaves make food from light. They count pollinators, test paper seeds, graph variation, build a compost bottle, map a garden food web, make a planting calendar and design a small garden. Saturday is Grow It Day with the family.
